The owner of the place I originally designed Checomal as the archetype of the Mexican taquero and at the beginning, he and Ichuel were going to be only secondary characters (My original ideas were around Kaira and Xio) but you see, twists of fate; opportunities in a weekly newspaper and he became "almost" the main character.
