And after 2 and a half years and more than 104 pages, we come to the end of this story! It took a lot longer than I expected (I blame the pandemic).
I started the idea of Macoatl back in 2005 as a pitch for a cartoon series, and from the beginning, this was the story I wanted to tell the most "the Fall of the city of Coatlan and how Kaira chased and captured all the Pitayos" I saved it for so long with the idea that this is what the project TV series/movie would be about, but the years went by… I tried to sell the project several times; I saw what it really takes to sell your project to a big studio, and finally decided that I had to tell it my way before something happens. I hope you all enjoyed it!
From here the story connects directly to the first strip and although I could still tell the fight with Che Araña (the spider who speaks Spanish) I am going to take a break from the full pages for a while, and after that, I want to go back to the "present" or where I left the comic strips, Although I feel that many of you were not present at the time and that perhaps I should do a short story of what happened in the comic strips before we get to that; Are you interested?
