When the original version of this story happened, it was 2009 and we were coming out of the H4INI (swine fever) pandemic. I think that it hardly affected countries outside of Mexico, but here they did lock us up for a few months (and the restaurants were very affected by it). As they say, history repeats itself and sometimes it seems that I plan things to coincide.
